CATARACT
Cataract is generally replaced with a clear biocompatible lens which is called Intra Ocular Lens (IOL).

How is Cataract Treated?
- There is no medical treatment to prevent cataract or reverse them once they develop. The only effective treatment is to surgically remove the cataract. It is usually recommended when it interferes with your daily activities of living. The cataract need not be mature for its surgical removal. When cataract is mature the patient will have to opt only conventional methods which are uncomfortable and time consuming in terms of healing and recovery.
